Shutter Island Trailer Analysis
This film Shutter Island was released in February 2010. The trailer uses voice overs from conversations that feature in the film. At the start uses establishing shots. Then uses quick fast shots with many fades. As well as the trailer using voice overs it also has non-dietetic sound. But not pacifically music. The sound is sinister which gives of a sinister effect. The shots are no longer than 3 seconds each as well as the trailer giving an insight on the film it doesn't really explain what it's fully about but yet still grabs the audience's attention to go and see the film.
Shutter Island Film Poster Analysis
This is analysis of the film poster Shutter Island. The film is a horror and this is well portrayed by the use of dark lighting on the main images and bold colours white and red. The film poster doesn't give much away on what the film is about but shows the main character and the island which says where the plot is set and who the main character is.
